PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

  1. why is that Platinum is spelled as Platignum?

Just typo or any sort of reference?

  2. It's a little, and quite old English writers joke. Platignum is a brand of famous pen and apparently, a few famous writers used to hand write their manuscripts and the books were best sellers. So "Platignum" was used in phrases such as "I just wrote my latest book -it's pure platignum" (platinum being worth a lot back then). I think I may change it as I'm wondering how many others are going too get the joke......
