PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

YES!! Because YOU Demanded -DEMANDED- It!!! The SDCC 2015: Marvel Panel Line-Up

Alright, I know you -you guys in the Antarctic I mean- never really demanded it but do you know how difficult it is to draw peoples attention to a blog? I only get about 6877546 views a day so I'm trying to boost that.  I ain't kidding.  I added everything up using a calculator...hang on....

3+3 = 54...that must be right -I used the Cisco calculator I've had since 1977 so....

Anyway, you don't want to read the crap I write do you?   Well, yes, you do.  But this isn't (all) about me so let's get on down dirty, nasty street style.
No, that is not the banner of a third rate, struggling Indie comic company.  That is how Marvel promotes its taking over (not really) of SDCC.

See what's on tap from the House of Ideas!  (That makes me laugh every time).  A-hem.

what-? Oh. Sorry.  Do you think fresh breath mints work with the state of Brevoort's tongue these days? Will he wear that tiny hat that he thinks makes him look, youthful, hip and cool but in fact make him look like he has severe mental health issues?  (Could be Disney made him wear it?)

No, not this arse-licking "make it look like I've lost 200 lbs and thirty years" image:

I mean this one -and there were some I could have used making him look worse but even the man who craps on everyone for a dollar needs some respect, right?  By the way, the caption for the above was: "Marvel Comics Executive Editor Tom Brevoort, one of the comic industry's most prolific personalities"..."most prolific personalities"??? He has multiple schizophrenia???

Smile, Tom, you're crapping on Stan, Jack and all those creators whose toe you are cling on to for the Disney $

I could be SO cruel using satire but this is not about Tom, this is about....I forget.

1 comment:

  1. I make no apologies over what I said about brown-tongue Brevoort. However, I was a bit cruel re. that Marvel banner. The art is NOT bad at all. It is just that those characters are just nothing now and mean noithing and in ten years...twenty years their comics will still not be worth what you just bought them for. Good night.
